Important Update
Although, as of April 1, New York-Presbyterian Hospitals will be out of network for non-NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System members, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital employee members and their covered dependents will remain in-network with NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare system and their employed Medical Group Providers.
The following group numbers below, will remain in-network with NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare system and their employed Medical Group Providers. You may find your group number on your ID card in the top right corner under GRP and will be the first 6 digits (see sample ID card below). This is due to a custom network arrangement and will allow your benefits and network to remain the same.

Medical plans
Until April 1, click on the link below matching your medical plan option to find doctors in your area. You may currently “Continue as a guest.” Effective April 1 you will have to log into the Aetna member website to search for network providers. (Searching as a Guest will not yield accurate results.) The links in the "Medical plans" section below will work until that time and will eventually be replaced by links to the new custom network.
Some providers who accept Aetna may not appear in search results. If you receive a message of “No results were found” after a provider search, please call Aetna at 1-866-267-1091 to verify the provider’s network participation. We apologize for any confusion.

*The NYP Select Physicians list is a special group of physicians that accept Aetna only for NYP employees and their covered family members. These providers are in-network for you and your covered family members.

- Just like with your choice of doctor, when you stay in the network for lab services and facilities like urgent care centers, you save.
- Your medical plan pays a larger share of the cost when you use network labs and facilities.
- Network labs and facilities have agreed to charge a reduced rate, so your share will usually be less.
- Non-emergency care may not be covered at all if you use an out-of-network hospital emergency room.
- We prescreen our network providers, so you can be sure you're getting quality services at maximum savings.
